Packing for a trip is hard enough, but packing makeup in a carry on for a flight can sometimes be harder. Above all, full-size beauty and skincare products take up a lot of room and can be a nightmare to pack. However, It can be done with my Ultimate Carry-On Packing list. Whether you’re jet setting to Florida for the weekend or the beaches of Bali you’ll be able to feel and look beautiful with minimal effort and minimal luggage. My best travel makeup list below is composed of day to night makeup for carry-on travel.
Can I bring makeup or powder makeup on a plane?
Yes! When packing makeup for traveling in flight, it’s essential you follow TSA liquids makeup guidelines below.
Liquids, gels, and aerosols packed in a carry on must follow the 3-1-1 liquids rule:
- 3.4 ounces or less per container
- One quart-sized clear plastic zip-top bag (all liquids must fit in the bag)
- One carry on bag per passenger
